Patrick Bachian developed at a very young age a taste for drawing and painting. His early works were figurative, using various techniques. He first went through abstract-figuration, in the late 90's using oil painting and shortly after, explored a geometrical approach in abstract compositions, before engaging In the early 2000s, in a free and gestural abstraction. It is then that he adopted acrylic painting and started to explore various technical and plastic processes in his compositions. Since 2014, although his work still is predominantly gestural and free, it has nevertheless become structured at its base.

Patrick began to exhibit his work in the early 2000s, and since then, he has exhibited individually and collectively in galleries, art spaces and contemporary art fairs, both nationally and internationally (Amsterdam, Miami, New-York, Rotterdam, Shanghai, Tokyo, Toronto...) and his work can be found in private collections in various countries worldwide. Some of his works have already been circulating on the secondary market. Lives and works in Paris.

Patrick Bachian a développé très jeune le goût pour le dessin et la peinture, à travers ses travaux figuratifs qu'il cultiva jusqu'à sa transition vers l'abstraction, vers la fin des années 90, avec dans un premier temps une phase transitoire figurative-abstraite, et des réalisations à l'huile sur toile, avant de commencer à explorer une approche géométrique dans des compositions abstraites et s'engager, au début des années 2000, vers une abstraction libre et gestuelle. C'est alors qu'il adopte la peinture acrylique et commence à explorer divers procédés techniques et plastiques dans ses compositions. Depuis 2014, bien que son travail soit à prédominante gestuelle et libre, sa peinture devient néanmoins plus structurée à sa base.

Patrick Bachian commence à exposer son travail au début des années 2000, en solo et collectivement, dans des galeries et espaces d'art, salons et foires d'art contemporain, au niveau national et international (Amsterdam, Miami, New-York, Rotterdam, Shanghai, Tokyo, Toronto ...) ses oeuvres figurent parmi plusieurs collections privées dans nombreux pays à travers le monde. Certaines de ses œuvres ont déjà circulé dans le marché secondaire. Vit et travaille à Paris.
